About
Engineers who automate, not a marketing shop with an AI page
ClockworkBots is a small automation studio. We build AI agents and the backend systems they run on, for businesses in the USA and Latin America. The work is delivered by the people who write the code — there is no layer of account managers between you and the person building your automation.
No. 01 — Why the name
"Runs like clockwork" is the highest compliment an operation can get: it means the thing works without anyone watching it.
That is the standard we hold our automations to. Not a demo that impresses on a call and breaks in week three — something that keeps running quietly while you do the work only you can do. A mechanical watch is the same idea made physical: hundreds of parts, cut precisely, doing one job faithfully for decades. It is a good thing to build software like.
No. 02 — Who builds it

Usama Amjid
Founder & Software Engineer
ClockworkBots is founded and run by Usama Amjid, a backend engineer whose day work is production fintech infrastructure — digital wallets, KYC flows, payments, and the transaction systems behind them.
That background sets the bar here. In payments, a system that is right ninety-nine percent of the time is broken. The same discipline — validate every input, make operations repeatable, log what happened, assume the third party will fail — is what separates an automation you can forget about from one you have to babysit.

No. 03 — How we work
- Small first scope
- The first project is deliberately narrow, so you see something working before committing to more. Trust is earned by shipping, not by a proposal document.
- Fixed price before we start
- You get the number after the free discovery call, before any work begins. Open-ended retainers are for after you have decided we are worth keeping.
- You own what we build
- The code, the accounts, the configuration — yours. We are not interested in holding your automation hostage.
- Plain language
- We explain what we are building in words you can repeat to your team. If an explanation needs jargon to sound impressive, it is usually hiding something.
Want to see whether this fits your business?
The best way to judge us is a conversation about your actual operation. Start with the services, or book the free discovery call directly.
